WHAT IS FREEZE DRYING?

Freeze-dried products make up the majority of ingredients used for all our systems.
For instant or quick re-hydration of certain dried foods and for products, which retain
their shape and texture, freeze-drying is the preferred method.

How Freeze Drying Works

What is Freeze Drying?

{ 1 }  Preperation: Start with the best
ingreidents, freshest produce, the best meats and
seafood. Either seperate or a meal made to
perfection.

{ 2 }  Freezing: The Product is flash frozen,
After freesing, the product is placed in a vacuum
to evaporate the now frozen ice.

{ 3 }  Vacuum: Heat is applied to increase
sublimation

{ 4 }  Condensation: remove the vaporized
water

{ 5 }  Reconstitution: By replacing the water
the freeze-dried food will regain it’s great taste,
original aroma and texture of the food that was
originally prepared.

WHAT IS DEHYDRATING?

The standard method of dehydrating vegetables and spices is to place the items on a
conveyor belt and run them through an oven at a high temperature for a relatively short
time. Between 90% to 95% of the moisture is removed.
