The Benefits of Dehydration
Foods are run on a conveyer belt at high temperatures for a short time. 90-95% Moisture is removed.
- Vegetables like tomatoes, celery, carrots & mushrooms are more suited to dehydration.
- Items such as peas, corn, and green beans rehydrate better when freeze-dried.
